Home

A conversation with my cousin is marked with stops, clanks, and chopping. We both spend a lot of time in the kitchen, she with her summer vegan diet and her vegetarian winters. Me, I prefer my 'Man vs. Food' diet; give me a three feet long chicken frigate sandwich with bananana pepper ketchup and mango chutney any day. We talk for hours on end about very different subjects it's amusing to bounce ideas off my creative, mystifying, funky, off beat cousin. Her view of life is that protecting your family and yourself is all important. She demands that her body does as she asks of it, she teaches her sisters about drugs and drinking by saying no drugs and encouraging responsible drinking. Then cracks sex jokes like the one about Jiffy Lube (a jiffy is a .5 nanosecond) where the lube job is a natural one. Her half serious, half class clown personality is occasionally like being whipped up in a storm and yet placed gently on your feet.
